Scarred Not Silent: Stories from the intersections of survival
Birthdaaaaaay!!!!!!
In today’s episode, I close the loop on a Social Security Disability fight most people never see coming.
I walk through how I uncovered a little-known loophole buried in SSD policy and procedure. Not a rumor. Not frustration. Research. Paper trails. Discrepancies that did not line up with what the beneficiaries were told.
I reached a point where I formally wrote to the President of the United States. The Biden administration responded and confirmed that they contacted Social Security on my behalf.
What happened next raised more questions than answers.
Did accountability trigger retaliation?
Did someone take offense at being challenged?
Or did the system do what systems do when exposed?
I share what I believe happened and why this matters for anyone navigating disability, benefits, or bureaucratic power.
Listen closely. The answer unfolds in today’s episode.
