The Gladiator’s Wisdom: When Feeling Injured Isn’t the Same as Being Injured
In this episode, I reflect on a powerful quote from a famous gladiator that stopped me in my tracks while reading a recent gift I received. On the surface, the quote speaks to injury. But when you sit with it long enough, it reveals something deeper. There is a profound difference between being injured and sensing that you are injured.
I take a thoughtful dive into what that distinction means in real life. Not just in physical terms, but emotionally, and mentally, Injury can be visible. Sensing injury often is not. One is acknowledged. The other is lived quietly.
This conversation is for anyone carrying unseen wounds. For those who keep moving forward while privately questioning their strength. We explore why awareness matters, how mislabeling pain can delay healing, and what it looks like to honor your experience without being defined by it.
This episode is not about weakness. It is about discernment. Because knowing you are hurt is different from believing you are broken. And that difference changes everything.
